About The Initiative

The Mamelodi Sundowns NexGen Initiative is here! We’re opening up our doors and looking for ambitious young talent to give the youth real, hands-on work experience at the home of the African Champions.

The initiative is a rare opportunity to learn, grow and launch a career at one of the continent’s most successful football clubs.

The MSFC NexGen initiative will see the club search for seven eager interns to fill positions across the following areas:

Marketing and Brand

A passionate and creative individual to support brand marketing and sponsorship initiatives helping shape how the world sees The Yellow Nation.

Productions Coordinator

Assist with the operational and administrative backbone of a production team. you’ll help plan, schedule and coordinate shoots, matchday productions and behind-the-scenes operations, learning what it takes to deliver broadcast-quality content

Photographer

A sports photographer who is able to capture dynamic, high-speed athletic action and raw emotion. Capture the moments that matter. From training sessions to matchdays to club events

Digital Media

Manage platform-specific executions that elevate brand awareness and ensure we showcase MSFC in the best way on each digital platform, including the app. Stay on top of updates, trends, optimisations and keep us more engaged online while looking beyond our industry for out-of-the-box executions.

Supporter Coordination & Events

Bring the Sundowns family together. You’ll support the planning and delivery of supporter activations & experiences, gaining hands-on experience in events management where the energy never stops.

Media -PR / Journalist

Gain hands-on experience in the PR / Media department by contributing and performing media related tasks which include internal and external communication, media relations, contribution to the digital magazine and other platforms.

Sales and Membership

You’ll help grow the Masandawana family. You’ll support the Club’s membership and commercial efforts – driving sign-ups, supporting supporters and learning the business behind building a loyal, engaged and growing fan base.
